Friday wear around the office can be tricky. I often find myself watching the clock down to 5pm so I can dash out the door and head into the city to meet hubby for a cocktail before dinner reservations.

This typically means that donning the typical casual Friday gear (jeans, a tee and sneakers!) isn't always an option when there's dinner date to follow. I love this outfit which works great in creating more of a casual vibe for Friday around work (especially if you're in a super corporate setting Monday to Thursday) but also fits in just great with a downtown vibe for date night.

What do all of you have planned for the weekend?

  6. I think I would enjoy this more if it didn't look like an endorsement for a specific retailer but you do always look great.

    1. Hey :)

Totally appreciate any kind of feedback around here as well as you taking the time to leave a comment! While the clothes were certainly gifted from the retailer, I do have the liberty to select items that represent my personal aesthetic. I try my best to remain to true to my personal sense of style when collaborating with other brands. Thanks again for following along - it means the world to me! xx

  7. I see that the pants are considered leggings. Do you think they are dressy enough to wear if your dress code is business casual? What about the length? It looks like they may be extra long. I am loving the outfit, a great transition for early fall!

    1. Hey Jami!
So yes - they're marketed as a legging but I definitely think they're an appropriate work trouser so long as the shirt you're wearing extends past the waist band. There are no pockets on these so that can make them seem more casual if your shirt was cropped or tucked in. I'm 5'3 and found these longer than most pairs of pants so be prepared to alter them if you're around my height ;)

      xx Krystin
