Robe: c/o Plum Pretty Sugar | Necklace | Lace Top

I've said this before and I'll say it again, everything about my beauty routine has got to be simple or it just won't stick. Anything that can help me skip a step, save a minute or get me from one day to the next is a winner in my books. All that being said however, quality is a must. So when Garnier reached out and asked if I'd be interested in trading my current facial cleanser (wipes for me!) for their new Skin Active Micellar Water, I figured why not!

I've heard the term Micellar Water thrown around but never really knew or took the time to read up on what the benefits were. On Day 1 I couldn't help but notice that it seemed as though more makeup was being removed with the pad than my wipes tend to do. I wondered if I just happened to be heavy-handed with my bronzer that morning but when the same rang true on Day 2, I knew it wasn't a coincidence. I also loved that the product didn't require a rinse off - a few wipes and you're done.

By Day 4 I was also noticing that makeup products that are often tricky to remove such as liquid liner or layers of mascara (guilty!) were being removed much faster and easier than before. By Day 7, I was officially sold. Not only did the Garnier Micellar Water cleanser remove tough makeup, maintained my early morning and before-bed routine but it also left my skin feeling hydrated. Almost every morning (except the day the temperatures dipped to -25) I was even able to skip my primer before applying makeup.

Overall, I found this product to be an awesome addition to my morning/evening routine. Sure - the bottle doesn't travel as well as makeup removing wipes, but eliminating the need for primer and other moisturizers is good enough for me ;) Highly recommend!

Thank you to Garnier for sponsoring this post. Please note that thoughts and opinions expressed above are my own :)

  1. I've just recently started using this as well and I couldn't agree more! I thought I was getting all of my makeup off at night before bed, but boy was I wrong!

  2. Preach it girl!! I am all about fast, but effective. This sounds great. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Awwww the Sweet Love and Yonderflies pattern is the robe Krystin is wearing. Plum Pretty Sugar robes are the best. I have the ankle length in pattern Pink Love Poppy. Micellar water has been a favorite of mine for nearly a year. Although I have not used the Garnier brand I echo your statements.

  7. Mold contamination can give rise to a variety of health conditions. Plus, your walls and furniture and other materials at home have greater probability of decaying soon the longer they stand in water or are saturated by water.
